Renaissance Orders

These Tapestries were commissioned for a hotel in Upstate New York. They were woven from 3/8" wide strips of pastepaper for a graphic and primitive effect. The designs are based on the Renaissance Orders in architecture, circle, semi circle, triangle and square. The lower parts of the designs are ideas about villages, gardens and the weather. Sizes are approximately 39" tall by 25"wide.
